Chinese New Year Abundance Meal Giveaway Promotion (“Promotion”) – The Promotion is valid only for Transactions made and captured/posted between 0000 hours, 1 January 2013 to 2359 hours, 27 January 2013 (Singapore date/time), both dates/times inclusive (“Qualifying Period”). To be eligible, the principal Cardmember (“Eligible Cardmember”) must register via SMS during the Qualifying Period and United Overseas Bank Limited (“UOB”) must receive the SMS. The first 388 Eligible Cardmembers (“Winners”) who has registered via SMS and who carries out and charges a minimum amount of S$8,888 (or its equivalent in foreign currency) worth of Transactions during the Qualifying Period will be entitled to a prize of a set meal for 8 persons worth $888 (“Prize”) to be redeemed at applicable restaurants as set out below. The redemption of the Prize is limited to the period from 12 – 23 February 2013 (both dates inclusive). Winners will be notified by 8 February 2013. Reservation for the set meal is on a first-come, first served basis, subject to the availability at the selected restaurant. The term “Transactions” shall mean credit or debit card transaction(s) (whether local or overseas) successfully carried out and charged to the Eligible Cards by the Eligible Cardmember and the relevant supplementary Cardmembers during the Qualifying Period and which are successfully captured/posted on UOB’s systems during the Qualifying Period. Credit or debit card transactions which are cash advances, balance and/or funds transfer, SmartPay, cash advance fees, late fees, reversals, interest and any finance charges will not be considered as “Transactions” for the purpose of the Promotion. UOB reserves the right at any time in its discretion to amend or vary this list for any reason and without prior notification. For Instalment Payment Plan’s transactions, only the monthly posted transactions are considered. The term “Cardmember” used herein has the same meaning as the term “Cardmember” set out under the terms and conditions of the Promotion.
